Throughout the seasons...
Serapia are easy to grow.
These orchids are dormant in summer, during which time they remain in the form of a tuber that can reach 4 to 5 cm. New shoots appear at the end of summer and flower in spring or early summer depending on the environment and altitude (March to May).
Planting, Exposure
This species appreciates a sunny or slightly shady spot. Regular watering during the growing season is essential. Reduce watering as soon as the flowers appear.
Tubers like completely dry places during the dormant period (summer). If you keep them in pots, apply a light spray to the substrate from time to time.
Frost resistance down to -8°C
