The flower stalks are about 50 cm high and have 8 to 12 flowers in umbels above attractive palm-shaped foliage.

Exposure
Plant Nerine at the foot of a low wall, along a border, on a slope or in a bed, but always in a sunny position sheltered from the wind.
Soil
Nerine like all well-drained soils, even poor, sandy or stony ones. Organic matter should be avoided as it favours the development of the foliage to the detriment of the flowering.
Planting
Plant the Nerine in groups, spacing them 15 to 20 cm apart. Water lightly if necessary during the growing season. Do not plant them where they will be shaded by other plants, they like the sun.
They can also be grown in pots in the sun.
Taking care of Nerine
Nerine hate disturbance, so once planted, try to avoid moving them.
